Programme Areas

Six out of Nepal's 75 districts (Achham, Baitadi, Bajhag, Kapilvastu, Okhaldhunga and Rautahat) were chosen to implement the COPE programme. In the second phase 10 Municipalities will be selected on the basis of their HDI ranking, GDI indices and Literacy rate. Among them three are in existing COPE districts (Gaur in Rautahat, Kapilvastu in Kapilvastu and Dasharath Chand in Baitadi).
